Whats Your WHY?

Its one thing to know your calories, its another thing to actually stick to them... People often ask the question "how do I stay disciplined"



Whether your prepping for a comp or learning to make healthy choices it all comes down to your MINDSET. At the end of the day this is what it all comes down to.


Change the way you think, change the way you respond to "hard situations" and the rest will follow... sounds simple? Because it is..


By simply changing the words we say;

" I HAVE to eat this"


You dont HAVE to eat anything. You GET TO eat healthy! You are not punishing your body by eating your meal prep or picking the healthy option - your REWARDING IT!


Lets work on understanding that the lean home cooked meal is the reward, not the drive through.


Always have an escape route!

Firstly - If you fail to prepare you prepare to fail. Designate days to prep, designate times to eat. Make yourself a priority!

Whats your escape route when you feel like your going to slip?


Here's 3 emergency "go to" options;

Eat an apple... High in fibre, gives you a sugar boost..... and you can keep it in your bag EASILY.

If you have yours joggers on - RUN, if you dont, go for a long long walk.


& personal favourite...

Journal! Remind yourself why your doing this and most of all why the "other" options its not worth it. Is the next decision you make getting you closer to your goal, or further away?
